ABOUT
Eske Yoshinob is a freelance illustrator and programmer, with a career that ran through Now Production, Daiichi Sankyo, Square Visual Works, Exit Tunes and Polygon Pictures — taking in Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts along the way, plus animation work on Transformers Prime and Tron: Uprising.
He began illustrating Pokémon cards in 2011, debuting in Dragon Vault.
He works mainly in 3D software, and his compositions push forward: motion is emphasised and proportions slightly exaggerated so the subject breaks out of the illustration window. Most of his later work is Pokémon-EX and other Rule Box cards — though some of his Legendary Treasures art was drawn conventionally, in a purposely cute style.
