ABOUT
Mizue (瑞絵) is a freelance illustrator and manga artist whose first Pokémon cards — Snubbull and Granbull — appeared in Call of Legends.
Her cards are busier than most, and deliberately so. Dynamic poses in soft palettes and gradients, held together by a firm outline, sit inside elaborate backgrounds: individual leaves and plants rendered one by one, halftone dots, horizontal line work. Subjects are often lifted off the background with a white glow, then finished with bubbles and lens-flare sparkles.
Most of her professional work is Pokémon cards, alongside her own drawings and comic strips. No personal biographical details have been published.
